We had church tonight!

Hello to everyone and Praise the Lord!

Tonight we watched the sixth session of Daniel. Wow! We were laughing, crying, amening, praising, etc. The Lord showed up in a mighty way! Can someone say mighty?! There were 14 ladies present! We are about to out grow our room! Can I hear an amen?! The Lord is up to something big in the lives of this class. All I can do is hang on and enjoy the ride. All of the ladies in my group are just so precious! When we finished tonight all I could say was "Did we have church or what?" I am so excited about this week's homework. I can hardly wait to get started. After a pretty crummy week-end I needed this tonight. Thank you Lord! He knows what we need before we even ask and provides so graciously. I could just sing of His love forever as the song goes. But, I do have to try and get some sleep before tomorrow so I will be awake to listen to speeches bright and early at 8:00 a.m.

Love you so much and so does He!

Hi, just wanted to let you know we did the Daniel series this past summer and on some things, we had more questions than answers. Makes you do some more digging. Hope you enjoyed it, we sure did. Karen

I saw you at the LPM site and I wanted to drop by to say hello to another Siesta!

I loved reading your blog. GOD and I are working on a forgiveness issue from an abuse that I thought I had forgiven but hadn't.

I love that HE always lets me know when I'm "faking it until you make it" which in the case, doesn't count :-)

I love Beth Moore too and saw her in Washington D.C.

My testimony is not exactly like hers but I suffered some of the things you guys suffered as well.

All of that said, I see you are in Raleigh which is where my 24 year old "not saved yet" daughter will be moving when she graduates from VCU in May. She will graduate with her Masters in Social Work.

Where do you go to church there? I know she hasn't asked about church, but I'm believing GOD is going to do a major miracle in her life.

Thank you for being willing to share with other Siesta's.

I know that is what we are all called to do...encourage...give courage...and, just so you did that for me today!

Blessings From one of HIS daughters to another,

I saw your info on the LPM Blog and my jaw hit the floor when I saw Mount Vernon Baptist, Raleigh, NC. That is the church my family attended while my dad was at Southeastern Seminary. I haven't heard much about the church since we left Raleigh, but have just prayed and asked God to continue to bless the ministry there.
